After a strong performance in yesterday’s “Debate 2008,” media outlets around the nation are hailing Senator Edwards as nation’s best candidate for presidency. The highly anticipated debate, sponsored by FOX News, took place at the University of California, Davis and allowed the candidates to voice their beliefs on several issues ranging from healthcare, immigration, the economy and even the War in Iraq. In all, numerous members of the press and news organizations all agreed it was Senator Edwards who, “gave the best performance today.”
“[Edwards was] Well spoken, poised, and always having a rebuttal” –Miranda Faber, New York Times.
“Edwards Had the upper hand with the Democrats; he was well spoken, knows what to say, and he just has a lot of information, where the other candidates stayed to themselves and kind of didn’t know where everyone else stands” –Sophia Doa, TIME.
“Edwards had a lot to say about every issue. He brought his game face and played the debate well...he spoke so much on every issue that he ran close to running out of time on each question. Nevertheless, he was poised, ready, and successful” –Stated on the New York Times Blog.
“He came prepared (like always). I am always in awe about how prepared he is. He not only knew his positions extremely well but knew his opponents' as well. Overall I think he gained the most out of the debate. He was memorable and did show off his knowledge” –TIME Magazine Blog on Edwards.
“I would say that Senator Edwards was most impressive” –California Secretary of State, Dr. Drew Halfmann.
“It was Senator John Edwards who had the best performance today. He remained composed and sure of his answers at all times” –Stated on the Davis Enterprise Blog.
Following an impressive administration of the event in which FOX News thanked the candidates for their participation, the news outlet went on to state, “It looks like the Democrats are being led by Senator Edwards. We would like to note that Senator Edwards came out excited and prepared today, ultimately giving him the upper hand going into Thursday's vote.

Fox News also felt that Senator Edwards performed well, and seem to runaway with the Debate. Excellent performance.
